Biography
Oh Jung Tae is a South Korean comedian. He attended the Theater and Film program at Dongshin University but dropped out. He made his debut in 1999 as a theater actor with a role in the play "Taxi, Taxi" as he always wanted to be a theatrical actor. However, in 2006, he was scouted on the street by a PD and later was selected as part of the 15th open recruitment for comedians at MBC. He managed to catch the final good years of comedy shows at the network before it began a steady decline and nearly eliminated all comedy shows. In 2017, his family appeared on "Human Documentary: People Are Good" where it was revealed he saved his mother from debt after her restaurant ran into trouble. He worked several part-time jobs and even earned a role in the independent film "Spring by Chance" that same year to bring more money to the family. He now appears on variety shows and morning shows.
