Story

A Siberian hermit, whose life was destroyed by the millstones of the Great October Revolution, spends 17 years in self-imposed exile. Having learned about the attack of Nazi Germany on the USSR, the former Cossack officer, without hesitation, rushes to the front to protect his native land.
